I was asked to write an article on what our vision is for worship at Cornerstone.
How many have heard the term, “On The Cutting Edge?”
I have heard people say, “Man, we are on the CUTTING EDGE of worship.” I, myself, am not sure what all that entails. But if it means being saturated by the Holy Spirit, and being engulfed within the presence of our Living savior…..if it means basking in the sweetness of Christ centered worship in total and complete surrender to Him….. if it means being in His healing presence, and being so consumed by His power and His love that there is no room for anything else in our lives….. then being on the “Cutting Edge” is our vision. Our worship and the object of our worship is Jesus Christ Who is seated at the right Hand of the Father…..yet makes His dwelling place in the heart of every believer.
Psalm 18:46-49: The Lord Lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies…..Therefore I will praise You, Oh Lord, among the nations! I will sing praises to Your Name! Glory to our God and King!!
